Evan M Nelson grew up in West Linn and Lake Oswego, attending Riverdale HS. After HS he worked for his uncle building high end homes in Lake Oswego. He decided to change his path to real estate sales to follow his passion for beautiful homes and the social interaction that being a real estate broker provides. He moved to Santa Monica and worked at the Coldwell Banker Beverly Hills office before joining eXp. Evan moved back to Portland and lives in a condo tower in the South Waterfront.

​​Mick Nelson is Evan's father. He began his real estate career in 1986 in Portland, and in 1987 he moved to the Pismo Beach CA area. He has an extensive construction background and is a licensed Master Electrician in 44 of the 50 states. He ran a successful General-Electrical Contracting business in Portland before deciding he wanted to return to real estate to work with his son in the real estate industry. Mick lives in Garden Home.

His deep background in motivating consumers to take action provides a unique skill set when it comes to selling real estate and securing qualified buyers. As a Certified Aging in Place Specialist [CAPS], he also offers specialized knowledge and skills related to the real estate needs of aging individuals and their families. Darrell lives in a beautiful vintage RUMMER midcentury modern home in Beaverton.
